The Modern 20's

My senior collection

For my Senior collection, I wanted to create something that I would wear.  Because I have always been my own customer.  whether it was past, present, or future.  I did a ton of research on former female athletes in the business industry and found that 80%+ of female CEOs are former athletes, so that's whom I decided I wanted my target customer to be.

I wanted to build a collection that was not only sportswear but, fun, comfortable, and easy to wear as well.  I also wanted to tie in the classic silhouettes of the activewear side of their closest.

My inspiration behind 'The Modern 20s' is a blend of the 1920s and 'The Great Gatsby'.  I have a fascination with the 1920s and my favorite movie/book is F. Scott Fitzgerald's 'The Great Gatsby'.  With wanting to create a collection with some activewear silhouettes as well as being inspired by 'The great gatsby' and the 1920s, I feel I've shown the inspiration more with the types of fabrics, colors, and use of the fabrics.
